Current Targets

The campaign to close Huntingon Life Sciences has and will always be fought on a financial basis and targets are closely monitored for involvement with Huntingdon.

They come in two 3 basic categories which have sub categories in them and they are:
1 Customers of Huntingdon Life Sciences - Without customers of HLS there simply would be no Huntingdon Life Sciences. We have just updated the customers section to include customers we know from 2000 - 2005. To view these companies click here .They made up of of large companies like GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb & Novartis. Huntingdon admitted that there are 10 companies out there that make up 45% of their business. These 3 companies are in that 10 companies.

Also on the companies page you will see quite a few Japanese companies. Again HLS admitted that Japanese customers make up between 20 - 25% of their business. Most of these are chemical companies which means really painful experiments at HLS.

Thirdly on the customers page you will see small biotech companies like Phytopharm (UK) and many US based biotech companies. These companies have no lab facilities of their own so outsource to companies like HLS all of their animal research.

2 Financial support -
The NYSE Euronext on Dec 22nd 2006 decided to list HLS on the NYSE Arca excahnge knowing full well what goes on inside HLS. The NYSE Euronext are a major target for the campaign. To view the NYSE Euronext click here

3 Suppliers - Many of these companies would have been happy to supply Auschwitz. As far as we are concerned they come in three separate categories General, Specialist, Logistics. For a list of Huntingdon's suppliers please click here
General suppliers are companies like office supply equipment who are not vital to Huntingdon but cause problems when they leave especially in large numbers.
Specialist Suppliers are companies like Phenomenex who supply scientific equipment that not many if any other companies manufacture or supply. Losing these companies would have a seriously damaging effect on Huntingdon.
Logistics suppliers The main logistical supplier to HLS is a small company called PDP from Middlesex, UK. To see their details click here. Other logistical suppliers are companies like Fedex and UPS (click here for the UPS section) who ferry everything from primates to blood samples around the world. Without this logistical back bone Huntingdon would find it difficult to operate. What would they do if customers in Tokyo or New Jersey, U.S.A. couldn't send samples because no company would deliver to Huntingdon?

============================================================

In conclusion
The three big targets are the NYSE Euronext (financial target) and GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis (both customers)

There are other major customers like Bristol Myers Squibb, Abbott labs plus Huntingdon's Japanese customers who make up 20- 25% of their business.

There are also companies who are shareholders in the NYSE Euronext - in effect they own the NYSE Euronext - but we are not saing these companies are Puppy Killers BUT they have allot of influence over the NYSE Euronext and they should use it.

Last on the list of importance are Huntingdon's suppliers, knocking them out will not close HLS but it will make life difficult for them and coupled with the above two could prove to be devastating.

Finally: If you have got this far you are interested, if there is a company that you see on the website that you do not understand their importance or what they do, I mean are they a customer supplier or what then simply email us at info@shac.net and we are more than happy to explain it to you.

Thanks
