TARGETING HLS CUSTOMERS & SUPPLIERS IN NYC, USA

Demo 1: Staples @ 1280 Lexington Ave

On a beautiful almost-Spring day, a determined group of animal rights campaigners gathered near this busy Staples store to protest their shady involvement with Huntingdon Life Sciences, a company who kills and mutilates 500 animals a day for pointless product testing.

Voices rang out in unison as the demonstrators vented their anger that Staples could be supplying the puppy killers at HLS. 500 animals died today!... they yelled Scumbag Staples is to blame! roared the response.

This is a particularly good location for demonstrations as this is one of Staples busiest NYC stores and pedestrians LOVE to approach the picketers to find out what Staples connection to animal cruelty is. At one point a lady spoke to one activist to let them know that she'd seen the protest at another location and had written a letter to Staples demanding they discontinue service to HLS and announcing her boycott of their office supplies until they did.

That's not an isolated incident, Staples activists hear similar stories ALL THE TIME from concerned ex-customers of yours. You're LOSING MONEY time to cut your ties to animal cruelty before the Staples name is synonymous with pain, murder and torture!

Demo 2: Sir Derryck Maughan, Director and Board Member, GlaxoSmithKline

In support of the North Carolina activists GlaxoSmithKline protests in their state, the next stop of the day just HAD to be Sir Derryck Maughan, Director at GlaxoSmithKline.

Notice that Sir is in quotes because Maughan gets no respect from compassionate people, as his company is directly responsible for animal abuse and unspeakable cruelty at Huntingdon Life Sciences.

This particular puppy killer lives on a side street off of Park Avenue, which has great acoustics. This demo was LOUD AS HELL and activists were told that it was heard from blocks away which is quite the accomplishment since the NYPD have unjustly taken away activists rights to use bullhorns.

At one point the police were called as they always are on account of Maughan's whiny neighbors and simpering doormen. And once again the police, clearly annoyed at being called away from actual crimes, came to investigate only to find that the activists were (as always) abiding by all laws and completely peaceful. Returning to her cruiser, a female officer waved and yelled to the activists Go ahead make ALL the noise you want! before smiling and driving away.

Demo 3: James D. Robinson III, Chairman, Bristol-Myers Squibb

Last stop of the day was James Robinson's fancy Park Ave building, paid for with blood money earned from the death of the innocent animals locked inside Huntingdon Life Sciences. Activists relished the chance to shame animal abuser Robinson to his neighbors once again and send him and Bristol-Myers Squibb a very clear message: When they say we be back they're not kidding there's only one way to get them to stop visiting and that's for BMS to cut their ties to HLS!

Even though this was the end of a long day of protests, the chants rang out loud and clear from the determined activists, echoing under the awning and carrying for blocks around. It's your money YOUR FAULT screamed the activists, their voices strained to the limits your contracts YOUR FAULT!

Sounds like it's about time to sever your contracts with the monsters at Huntingdon, BMS!
