SOUTHERN ACTIVISTS GO MOBILE FOR THE DAY

A car full of activists headed off to remind customers of Huntingdon Life Sciences exactly what their money pays for.

Wyeth, 2 New Lane, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 2NG

We started with an early morning visit to Wyeth reminding them that their money goes towards the torture and murder of 500 animals everyday. We attracted a lot of attention from the public at this site, but once they discovered what a sick company Wyeth is, that attention soon turned into support. This site is on a busy road with two large entrances, we'll definitely be back to remind Wyeth's workers of what a sick business they work for, until next time.

Sartorious, Longmead Business Park, Blenheim Road, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 9QQ

We paid a lunch time visit to the ones who make the torture equipment and cages to imprison the animals, Sartorius. As a result, we caught loads of workers outside filling their faces from the snack van outside and having a quick cigarette, but they soon ran in and hid once they were faced with the reality of their actions. The office in Epsom is perfect for demonstrations because their building is shaped perfectly to bounce off the sound of our megaphones.

Thermo Fisher, Longmead Business Park, Blenheim Road, Epsom, Surrey, KT19 9QQ

Our next target were so ashamed of their involvement with HLS that you could just make out through the tinted windows, that workers were moving further and further down their office. Even the next door neighbours at Thermo Fisher hate them and workers proceeded to leave the neighbouring office to stand in the porch and give us supportive thumbs ups and claps. Workers from Thermo Fisher sped back into their office after lunch rather than hear the truth, that their company contracts drunks and registered sex offenders to conduct unreliable tests on animals.

GSK, Stockley Park West, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB11 1BT

Our final stop for the day was GlaxoSmithKline, who are frequent users of HLS, to a point where they would rather pay thousands of pounds for an injunction than drop the notorious torture lab. However, something tells me they were starting to have cold feet about their involvement as a customer as worried employees darted quickly from one building to the next and they had organised loads of security, more police than protesters and even safety cones. GSK attempted to hide their embarrassment by laughing as we told them about the countless children they had murdered due to their lies. What kind of company can laugh at the fact they murder both humans and animals? Well, I guess we all knew how sick GSK are, but this just proves it. Your over the top security and running around with papers showing the injunction only makes us more determined, until next time.
