PROTESTS CONTINUE AT HLS IN SUFFOLK, UK

Those of us who could not make it to the National demo at Horsham, decided to pay HLS smaller lab, at Occold, Nr Eye, a visit. Friday 25th April saw just over a dozen of us demonstrating at the lab as the workers left to go home for the weekend. We were obviously not welcome but we did not take this personally. The majority of us have been demonstrating at the site for a good number of years, and so our faces are well known to the local Police, and yet the Police still felt it necessary to take photographs of our cars, which were parked outside the exclusion zone. We were also told it was not possible to take photographs of each other while we were demonstrating, which is a new one on us. Despite these obstacles which are put in our way, and which seem greater with every visit, we are not deterred and even manage to keep our sense of humour. One worker was congratulated for doing their bit for the environment and for riding their bike to work.

In memory of all those animals who have paid the highest price, you are never forgotten by those of us who dare to speak up for you, ie the ones they call the terrorists.
