MORE STAPLES DEMOS IN YORKSHIRE

A small demo was held outside Staples in Hull today, with customers and staff being informed of the animal cruelty that goes on inside Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Many customers accepted a leaflet and stopped to discuss what goes on, and 8 vowed not to use the store until it ends its contract with HLS stating that "it's disgusting that Staples accepts contracts from such a disreputable company just for profit". Don't forget HLS has had many exposes about it's animal cruelty, falsifying data, drug taking, to mention a few!

After discussing the issues with several staff of Staples, it soon became apparent that upper management has been leaning on them in order to prevent them talking to SHAC demonstrators. With one stating that staff have been told "not to complain or accept leaflets", a few staff members however did take leaflets and said they will email head office regardless.

This kind of behaviour is disgusting Staples! Not only do you sneak into HLS in unmarked vans, what have you got to hide? But you're also bullying staff into not accepting leaflets and making complaints about your lack of compassion!

Well we have a solution to that! Your bullying tactics will only cause more demonstrations until you end your contract with HLS, you can't keep a lid on your involvement forever. We support free thinking Staples staff who are more enlightened to what is right than the management.
