BACK TO HLS CEO BAKER, CUSTOMER SANOFI & SUPPLIER STAPLES

Demo 1: Andrew Baker, CEO Huntingdon Life Sciences

Back to the regular spot on CPW, activists visited one of the most notorious of murderers, Andrew Baker CEO of the animal death laboratory Huntingdon Life Sciences.

A large banner was unfurled, reading Andrew Baker Puppy Killer along with another banner depicting the slaughtered remains of a beagle puppy who lost her life inside HLS cold walls. Activists held signs featuring more images of HLS cruel brand of science and raised their voices against a man whose sole mission in life seems to be making money by abusing and killing animals.

Literature was passed out to pedestrians walking by, many recoiled in horror as they learned from activists that a man so evil lives right across the street but applauded the effort of activists who will never stop and never give in until Andrew Baker stops the killing at Huntingdon Life Sciences.

The activists chanted we'll be back and packed up to leave. This is a promise from them to you, Baker.

Demo 2: Nicole Brier, Liason Sanofi-Pasteur

Activists headed over to Nicole Brier's brownstone to shame her for her company's dealings with Huntingdon Life Sciences. Once again, signs were pulled out and passers-by winced in horror at the disgusting images of animal abuse they pictured. Many stopped to ask activists why they were protesting outside of Brier’s home and their jaws dropped when they learned of Brier's connection with the animal cruelty that goes on behind the barbed wire and steel doors of HLS.

Activists vowed to make Nicole Brier a regular stop for loud and angry protests, as long as her company keeps contracting HLS for hideous animal tests.

Demo 3: Staples 81st/Broadway

Continuing the global campaign to convince Staples to tear up their contracts with Huntingdon Life Sciences, activists then visited a busy branch of the office supply giant. Signs were distributed, detailing Staples involvement with animal cruelty, and flyers were handed out by the hundreds, as droves of passers-by stopped in horror as they realized what kind of bloody business Staples is involved in.

Time and time again, would-be customers walked up to the door of Staples, saw and heard the protest and chose to walk away, taking their business elsewhere. Other would-be customers picked up signs and joined in with the demonstrators, enraged that Staples would associate with the heartless monsters of HLS.

Activists promised to continue this fight until Staples stops delivering to Huntingdon Life Sciences and promises never to deal with them again.
