Activists convened for mobile demos in the neighborhoods of Farajollah Mahjoor, CEO of Phenomenex. Farajollah is the owner and CEO of Phenomenex, a crucial supplier to the notorious Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS). HLS is a product-testing laboratory that poisons to death 500 animals every day so its clients can fast-track to market with impunity products like bleach, oven cleaner and pesticides.

They went to Farajollah's neighborhood where he owns a multi-million dollar home overlooking an ocean christened the "Pacific," when the experiences of animals behind the cinder block walls of HLS are anything but. Activists marched down the public access road towards his palatial residence bought with blood money earned by his company, and exposed Huntingdon's daily torture and murder of 500 hundred animals. Undercover video showing the horrors inside HLS was given out to neighbors who promised to watch the DVD.

Ironically, just as some of the activists were departing in their vehicles, a nasty copper pursued one carload of picketers to give the driver a bogus traffic ticket. Activists in the vehicle behind them became so incensed at this obvious illegal harassment, they quickly exited their vehicle and decided to regenerate the picket! As some of the activists grabbed their signs and began walking towards the road to Farrajollah's again, a cop in a frenzy to "head them off at the pass" careened into the side of ("T-boned") the vehicle of Farrajollah's private detective! Neither was hurt, but activists couldn't resist telling them that such was their "karma" for preying upon people who legally stand up for defenseless animals.

Vivisection is both an animal rights and a human rights issue. Animals have the right not to be tortured and murdered by greedy psychopaths lapping at the government grant gravy train and people have the right to steady and reliable medical research. Vivisection is applicable to humans from 5%-25% of the time. Note that simply tossing a coin would yield 50% accuracy and spare the animal suffering.

Satisfied that their message was heard, demonstrators departed without incident.
