PHILADELPHIA ACTIVISTS SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE TO STAPLES

What began as a one hour protest against Huntingdon Life Sciences suppliers Staples, ended up as a three hour affair as Staples felt the pressure from Philadelphia activists, enraged at their indifference to animal torture.

Staples does not care that 500 animals die each day at HLS. 500 animals means nothing to them. So we presented them with some different numbers that we thought might get their attention...

250 leaflets flew out of our hands within 30 minutes of our arrival at their large, busy location in Philadelphia.
3 bullhorns exposed their shady business dealings with the murderers of HLS.
1 deranged staples manager threw the glass front door of staples into an activist, pinning him against the wall as she flew into a rage after 2 police officers ignored her demands to have activists removed from the front of the building.
Over 40 angry ex-customers of Staples marched into the bulling, one after the other, approaching managers and employees to let them know that they had ended their consumer relations with Staples until they tore up their contract with HLS.
Dozens of passersby refused to ever shop at Staples again once they read our literature and spoke with activists about Staples complicity in animal torture.

It's all a numbers game Staples. How many more customers do you want to lose.

To the Staples employee who yelled out, "There goes another one," after yet another customer confronted them about their ties to HLS: We look forward to repeating those words when Staples severs all ties to animal torture at HLS.
