ANOTHER WEEKLY PROTEST AT NOVARTIS UK HQ. AKA PRIMATE LAB

Back at Novartis Horsham after an excellent march last Saturday, this time with new banners and new people! We kicked off the demo telling the people of Horsham exactly what goes on behind the locked doors of Novartis and HLS. Lots of cars beeped in support as they drove past Novartis’s dirty little secrets.

Novartis seemed a little on edge, although the security guards didn’t fail to wet themselves with excitement – claiming that protesters had been taking photos of workers in their cars. Well Novartis, unlike some we don’t actually have anything to hide, and after a nice chat with the police they were on their way, sick to the back teeth of your eternal whining and delusions of grandeur.

Stupid moment of the day award goes to a spectacularly pathetic performance from one security guard who had come along for our demo especially, dressed in a black suit, in the baking heat, on his day off. He spent the afternoon lingering around protesters on the phone, fretting and claiming we were breaking the injunction to someone who probably couldn’t care less. Well, whether you are off duty or not, following ladies down the street seems a bit lowly and unnecessary don’t you think Novartis? Even the police thought you were pathetic!
