SOUTHERN UK TOUR OF HLS CUSTOMERS & SUPPLIERS

Abbott Labs; Abbott House, Vanwall Business Park, Vanwall Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 4XF.

It was a gorgeous day to demo, so we started at our old friends Abbott Labs, a company who are proud to be a customer of one of the most notorious animal testing labs in the world. Good going Abbott, you must be pleased with yourself that your money pays for 500 animals to die each day, along with the countless humans who have suffered because of your selfishness.

MDS Pharma; 270 Wharfdale Road, Winnersh Triangle, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 5TP.

Next up we paid another visit to MDS Pharma, where a large group of employees from another building came out to see what all the noise was about. When we told them exactly what MDS Pharma are involved in they ridden with shock and disgust. Sounds like you've kept that a bit quiet then aye MDS, I wonder why?

Lonza, 1 Ashville Way, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2PL

On our way to the next target we came across Lonza, a customer of Huntingdon. Well, we had a bit of time to spare and it was a wonderful day, so we decided to spend part of our lunch break naming and shaming Lonza. It seems as though this sites either had no demos, or very few. The employees first ran to the windows with their camera phones really excited about the attention they were getting, but before long they realised we weren't leaving in a hurry and hid behind the blinds in shame. Next door, around a dozen employees watched in disgust as we revealed Lonza's dirty secrets.

PDP Couriers; Unit 10, Ashford Industrial Estate, Shield Road, Ashford, Middlesex, TW15 1AU.

PDP, a freight company are well known for being involved with the torture of the animals inside HLS. The injunction meant we weren't allowed to stand near the building, but we were in a brilliant area, with loads of pedestrians around and lorries driving past every 20-30 seconds. A driver of a massive lorry even stopped and asked us for a leaflet, stating how horrendous it was that PDP would be involved in such a sick business.

Bristol Myers Squibb, BMS House, Uxbridge Business Park, Sanderson Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1DH.

Our last demo for the day was the customer BMS. The private land means we're unable to stand up against the building, but with plenty of megaphones we continually chanted "500 animals die in pain, BMS are to blame" continually for up to an hour. Plenty of people came over to us to find out what we were about and three local school boys even had a go on the megaphones, joining in with our chants.

With the bright and sunny weather along with the amazing local support we received, this was overall an amazing day of demos.
