BARCLAYS PROTESTORS BACK IN CAMBRIDGE

Campaigners were back outside Barclays 30 Market Hill, Cambridge, CB2 3NX handing out leaflets to customers of this corporate criminal.

Barclays continue to hold shares in HLS despite yet another undercover investigation exposing the lab again for horrific animal cruelty including dangerous, sharp cages that injure the animals, routine sickness and animals collapsing during procedures.

What kind of company deals with the most exposed animal testing lab in the world that tests things such as sweeteners, agricultural chemicals, GMOs and household products on animals? Barclays do, that’s what kind of a company they are! The same company that dealt with apartheid South Africa and has had dealings with the Mugabe regime.

The city centre was full of plain-clothes police officers and a couple of normal cops, but they weren’t interested in us, as there was some visiting dignitary in the city. It was a change not to be illegally moved under section 14 for peaceful protest for once!

We will be back time and time again until Barclays make the right choice. There really is no excuse for dealing with the animal abuse extremists at Huntingdon Life Sciences!
