MORE BARCLAYS DEMOS ACROSS ITALY

Companies like Barclays who are investing their money in vile vivisection labs like HLS and we think this is not a ethical choice, because they know that 500 animals die in pain inside HLS every single day and they should know that dealing with HLS means dealing with us. That is why italian activists decided to start a national campaign against HLS shareholders Barclays.

The campaign started on January 30th with a day of action of 7 Barclays offices, demoed in 5 different cities, from across the country. Activists in Milano, Bologna, Rome, Pescara and Palermo joined their forces and went out on to the streets in front of Barclays offices with megaphones, banners, placards and leaflets detailing the unethical choice of Barclays investing in blood money at HLS.

The campaign continued in Milano on February 12th, with yet another demo at Barclays posh offices in the city centre, near the Duomo. Not so many activists were present for this demo, called at the last minute, but still hundreds of leaflets were handed to people that appeared so curious to find out why activists are demoing a bank against vivisection.

The global week of action against HLS shareholders is coming up and many Italian groups will join it with demos at Barclays offices, asking them to divest from pain and torture at HLS.

Many more banks before you Barclays have made the right decision, the best one for the animals dying inside HLS, why don't you think about it Barclays? It's your money, it's your fault!
