MIDLAND ACTIVISTS PROTEST IN TAMWORTH
Saturday, 7th February 2009
Today Midlands SHAC activists decided to head to Tamworth to pay another visit to the Tamworth branch of Barclays.
The people of Tamworth were shocked and disgusted at Barclay's for their investments in blood money, and gave us plenty of support for making a stand against them.
A few of Barclay's own customers went in there to voice their complaints, whilst another made himself heard and gave them a piece of his mind from just outside of the bank, who were very easily in-range to his vocal chords.
The support went on as some people who were interested in the campaign, pledged to join it once learning more about Huntingdon Life Sciences, and made an instant start by helping us on the demo by giving out leaflets!
Even some of the local market workers decided to get involved and display their disgust against the bank with unethical investments - we're suprised they've beaten the other rival banks to it.
Many people's eyes have been opened today about the filthy company HLS, and the ties Barclays has with them - which means even more support and members for SHAC, and even less support and business for HLS + Barclays.
Close HLS!
