BARCLAYS DEMOS IN CAMBRIDGE CONTINUE

Wednesday, 15th April

Activists in Cambridge headed to the Barclays branch in the city centre to let customers know about the company's dirty dealings with the most exposed animal testing laboratory in the world, Huntingdon Life Sciences. HLS tests GMOs, household products and food additives on animals.

Campaigners handed out SHAC's Barclays flyers to customers and passers-by letting the know just what sort of a company Barclays really is. One customer even showed an interest in demos at the gates of HLS and said she didn't want to bank with Barclays any more!

The police took there time driving down from NETCU in Huntingdon and when they got to us they said they were not going to Section 14 us for once and then drove off. Perhaps they have realised that it is disproportionate to Section 14 campaigners for handing out leaflets or perhaps this was a one off. In any case we will continue to expose those that support cruelty to animals until all are free!
