ANOTHER 'POP UP' DEMO AT HARLAN

Yet again, another 'pop up demo' at Harlan in Loughborough. This evil place thinks because it is hidden away down a country road, it can cover up what goes on there.

We stood in the blistering sun with constant protest echoing round the buildings for the afternoon. The workers scurried to get to their cars trying to avoid hearing the truth and drove away with their radios blaring trying to block the noise of the protestors.

Yet again we saw one of the vans returning that takes the animals to their painful deaths and it brought home once again what an awful place this is. Predictably the workers either laugh or look away which, of course, is a sign that we are getting to them. Unlike the Harlan workers we aren't paid to be there, we are there by desire, not obligation. We were there today because of the enormous injustice of it all. The determination of protestors is not to be underestimated!

A worthwhile day without a doubt. Rest assured Harlan, we will keep coming back, we will keep causing disruption until this place closes down!
