NOVARTIS AND BRISTOL-MYERS SQUIBB DEMOS IN STOCKHOLM

Thursday, 2nd July

After coming back from the International Animal Rights gathering in Oslo, Norway, we have more motivation than ever before to close down Huntingdon Life Science and decided to do a few extra demos at two of their major customers.

We are used to doing demos at HLS-customers in the freezing cold, so it was a change to demo them in the hot sun all day!

First demo was Novartis. Around 15 people turned up at their HQ in Stockholm, Sweden and we did a really noisy demonstration. First at their entrance and then going into their back area, showing them the signs and placards while chanting "Innocent animals are under attack - we stand up, we fight back!". After going around the offices several times it was time for the next stop - Bristol-Myers Squibb.

It was a good demo outside their building, but we really wanted to make sure they got the message about why they should stop dealing with HLS, so activists went into the building and the entrance with 5 megaphones and the message was a simple one... Anyone dealing with HLS will get the attention from us. We won't go away until Novartis and Bristol-Myers Squibb drop HLS.

See you next week HLS collaborators!
