RUSSIA ACTIVISTS PROTEST AT HLS CUSTOMER ASTRAZENECA

AstraZeneca is encouraged to stop collaborating with HLS

We protested against AstraZeneca pharmaceutical corporation in Moscow. It is a main client of a pseudo-research center Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), where every day 500 animals die in experiments. Participants of SHAC Russia supported an International day of action against AstraZeneca and came to the building where the office of AZ is situated.

Activists encouraged the management of AstraZeneca to refuse to collaborate with HLS. They showed banners, started chanting slogans and delivered hundreds of leaflets. AstraZeneca workers were taking pictures from their windows.

Workers of the neighbour offices were taking leaflets and were asking questions. Some of them were upset about the fact that a corporation like this is situated in the neighbourhood. A young man came up to the activists and said that AstraZeneca had moved, we know that this is not true. It's interesting that things like this happen almost on every action. But activists knew exactly that AstraZeneca office is situated in this building and they kept on standing and chanting slogans about 2 hours. See you again AZ, until all are free.
