home >> news SHAREHOLDER AND CUSTOMER DEMOS IN DC Wednesday, 10th June At about 8:30 AM, DARTT activists arrived at the DC offices of Brown Advisory, one of the largest institutional investors in Huntingdon Life Sciences or HLS (LSR). Upon arrival, activists tried to have a meeting with Brown Advisory to talk about their connection to HLS. Unfortunately, Brown Advisory would not give clearance to the security desk to allow concerned citizens up to their DC office. DARTT activists said no problem and let the bullhorns roar outside their quiet office building naming and shaming them for doing business and attempting to profit from animal torture for the lies they call science. During the 45 minute furry of bullhorns, a few Brown Advisory employees went to get their corporate enema from Starbucks Coffee. Activists followed the employees to the front door of starbucks chanting, things like Its your money....your fault, your job...your fault, puppy killer... Needless to say, Starbucks customers and their regular baristas now know of their puppy killing links. Many fliers were distributed to BA employees, curious passersby and starbucks customers. Brown Advisory, we have been at your CEO, your Chairman's and several of your Investment Advisors front door steps. We have been to your Global HQ and now your DC offices along with your employees favorite coffee shop. You have refused all communication and protests will continue day or night until you completely divest from HLS (LSR). After about 45 minutes, protesters moved on to the offices of Glaxo-SmithKline. Glaxo-SmithKline is responsible for a large amount of HLS's business. DARTT activists stayed in front of the GSK offices for about 25 minutes, as employees were starting their workday.
