It is our committed goal to get anyone who invests in non-human animal abuse to see the light and drop those investments. After our last demonstrations, we received a tip from someone sworn to remain anonymous that American International Group (AIG) was moving their offices in Philadelphia, and they gave us clear and concise information on to where those new offices were. They moved 1 block down the street from 1700 Market St, Philadelphia PA 19103 to their new location American International Group (AIG), One Liberty Place, 1650 Market Street, 3rd floor, Philadelphia PA 19103, USA We thought today would be a great office-warming celebration. AIG have received billions of dollars from the US government in 3 separate ‘bailouts’ to save their company from the fallout of their bad financial decisions. Why? The first time, they took the money and went on a posh retreat for their executives. The second and third times, they used the money to make further bad investments and ‘lost’ some of the money. AIG used this money to invest in Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), a contract animal testing company who kills 500 animals a day (by their own admission) for things like tanning lotion and food additives. This is science gone mad. AIG, you owned 41,430 shares in HLS, you recently sold most of your shares (34,075) at a loss and you bought them off of the backs of American taxpayers. As people whose money was given to you without our permission, we say NO to your waste of our money, we say NO to your embezzlements, we say NO to your executive spa retreats, and we say NO to your investment in animal torture – whether at HLS or anywhere else. Drop all ties from HLS, sell the rest of your 7,355 shares in HLS (LSR) and give your bailout money back to the people who earned it in the first place – the workers of America. Open the cages and set the animals at HLS free! We’ll be back again and again, until you shape up. No matter where you move your offices, we’ll find out. The security at your new building seemed VERY surprised that we knew you had moved there. We’ll always show up, and we’ll always expose those who seek to profit off of exploitation. CLOSE HLS! ================================================= Disclaimer: Philly Animal Defense League (Philly ADL) is not affiliated or ================================================= |
