ASTRAZENECA DAY OF ACTION IN FINLAND

Finnish activists name and shame cowardly, cruel company.

It was an International day of action last month against AstraZeneca, who are a customer of HLS and have recently been exposed by an undercover expose paying for monkeys to be experimented on in HLS as recent as November 2008.

We decided to take a bus from Helsinki centre and visit their Finnish HQ in neighbouring Espoo in southern Finland. There were about 15 of us and when we arrived at the site there were four security guards, a police van and an ambulance waiting for us !

The gates were locked and the whole place look empty, even though it was 2pm on Monday, what have you got to hide Astrazeneca? The only people we saw were guards or passers-by. We spent over an hour chantng on the megaphone about their connection to HLS and shouting slogans. So now all the neighbouring companies know what you do. You're just an animal abusing, greedy company that hides away like cowards!

We will be back, until you server your ties with HLS and stop cruel, unnessecary animal experiments.
