PROTESTS CONTINUE AT HLS SHAREHOLDERS AIG IN IRELAND

This small but effective demo was held at the Dublin AIG offices at AIG House, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, IRELAND. Many people took our flyers and were sympathetic. Although due to train stoppages we lost a few protesters who were delayed enroute, the protest was still effective at naming and shaming AIG's business dealings. However the AIG Compliance Manager Louis Owens came out to speak with us. He said the Irish AIG had nothing to do with the UK one, but then admitted they had the same parent company. Global investors mean Global campaign against companies dealing with HLS.

He said ‘you will not find one piece of paper with any reference to HLS (I think he meant) in that building!!’

We got the impression he wanted rid of us. So see you soon again Louis. Until AIG sell ALL their blood money shares.
