SUPPLIER AND FINANCIAL DEMOS IN BOURNEMOUTH

Four human SHACtivists, and a six foot bunny targeted three places in Poole for a day of mobile demo's.

First stop was long term HLS supplier Sigma Aldrich, a chemical company heavily involved in the vile vivisection industry. Faced with four determnined activists, and an even more determined bunny, the security guard went into immediate red alert! He asked "are you animal rights ppl?" and then shoutied that he was calling the counter terrorist squad! He swiftly locked the gates,and refused to let anyone in or out, turning away a delivery truck and refusing entry to staff (including one with 'an important frozen delivery'. Workers left locked inside the building gathered around the windows, and spilled out into the car park to hear all about their companies involvement in torture.

Next stop was Barclays House (can you guess which company is based here?). This target is right opposite the train station, perfect for letting people know about Barclay's cruel investments. Loads of people were interested in the banners, leaflets and what was being said through the megaphones - even a passing PCSO, who took some leaflets and wished us luck.

Last but not least, HLS shareholder BNY Mellon, who were also treated to our placards and megaphones, whilst even more leaflets were distributed to the public.

All in all a very good afternoons work!
