WEEK OF ACTION DEMO AGAINST ASTRAZENECA IN OSLO

On the occasion of the global action week against AstraZeneca, 6-7 activists demonstrated outside of AstraZeneca's head office at Smestad in Oslo. We stood with posters and handed out fliers with information about the heinous HLS that AstraZeneca has agreed to support. It was a rainy day, but we were able to get our message out to AstraZeneca workers and passers-by.

Every three minutes an animal dies in HLS 'labs - a total of 500 animals being tortured to death every day. HLS exist because, among others, your company - AstraZeneca - decide to use HLS.

A wide range of large and small companies worldwide have already chosen to never work with HLS again due to the horrific conditions the animals live under.

Since 1981, it is proven that cruelty to animals, sloppy procedures and crimes has gone hand in hand with Huntingdon Life Science (HLS). Is this really something AstraZeneca would like to support?

SHAC Norway will start work to educate everyone in Norway about what you support AstraZeneca and encourage you to pull out as a customer of Huntingdon Life Science (HLS).

This is the first of many protests in Norway. We will be back, AstraZeneca.
