ASTRAZENECA AND FORTRESS DEMOS IN LONDON

A dozen activists gathered outside of AstraZeneca on Stanhope Gate for another demo at this HLS customer. This demo was part of the global week of action against AstraZeneca, a company that continues to defend HLS's sloppy and cruel track record, a company that continues to try and defend their own cruel experiments inside HLS, where primates were so traumatised they were chewing their own limbs and having continued anal prolapses trying to get away from the 'experiments' being done on them.

We had a loud and focused demo on both sides of AstraZeneca, naming and shaming them to all their neighbours about their dealings with 'the worst of the worst' animal contracting labs - HLS. With a lot of support from passing motorists and some embarrassed looking AZ employees, we continued our demo outside their HQ for about an hour before moving on to our next demo.

We arrived at 5 Savile Row, outside the offices of Fortress Investment Group and got straight into the demo, with our megaphones being heard all around the building, with a lot of interest and support from passers-by.

Fortress have gone quite for now after being caught out lying and now that HLS have become a private company, Fortress' extended loan to them makes them an even more important target for our protests, as without the loan from Fortress, HLS would not be able to find another loan and would not be able to continue killing 500 animals every day.

You have blood on your hands Fortress and we will not forget that it is because of your loan that these innocent animals are tortured by HLS. Many other companies have learnt the lesson that if you deal with HLS, you will have to deal with us. And we will not stop until you do the right things, like the many companies before you and ditch HLS. Having any dealings with HLS are bad for business, do the right thing Fortress and dump HLS now!
