HARLAN DEMO IN REMEMBERANCE OF BARRY

Thursday, 5th November

Today, activists turned up outside Harlan in Belton protesting from lunch time until the workers left. This was in rememberance of Barry Horne and to make sure the workers knew exactly what they were a part of and exactly what this company does.

Workers tended to wind their windows up and turn their radios to full blast, but from the looks on their faces and the scowls they gave us, we knew they heard exactly what we were saying.

We were there for their lunch, when one group decided to shout about how "well" the animals are looked after, but after we told them the facts and explained the evidence they scurried away from view, back inside that hellhole.

We made it clear then, and will do now, that we are going to be outside that cruel place and standing up for those animals until it closes down.

Until all are free
