HLS COLLABORATOR PROTESTS IN BIRMINGHAM

Friday, 18th September

SHAC Birmingham held more protests today outside of targets BDO International and Industrial Cooling Systems.

Arriving at BDO the first demonstration of the day started. Any company may think a group of protesters turning up outside their doors to stage a protest, may consist of a group of half-bothered individuals who'll be gone after a few appearances, but this is certainly not the case with SHAC. Already many companies previously dealing with HLS recognise that SHAC is here to close down HLS, no compromise, and that anyone affiliated with Huntingdon Life Sciences can expect endless actions taken against them by SHACtivists until they sever their ties with the puppy-killers. BDO International should now be starting to realise this as well.

We handed BDO a letter upon our first arrival to demonstrate against them, which to sum up told them about Huntingdon Life Sciences and the SHAC Campaign, and how their company was linked to HLS, we also asked them in the letter to urge those higher up in the business to sever these ties with Huntingdon Life Sciences and stop their involvement with HLS. A while into this friday's demonstration a representative from BDO International came out to hand us a letter in reply, stating that the 2 directors of Sub Anchor (and BDO) have recently resigned from their positions, thus BDO no longer has any affiliation with HLS.

We decided to finish our protest there for the day, and have forwarded the letter onto the campaign. If BDO no longer has any affiliation with HLS then we will cease our protests outside their offices, however if there is still links between BDO and HLS then the demonstrations will continue.

Second protest of the day was at Industrial Cooling Systems as per usual. Regarding the construction work they were seen having done around their windows yesterday, we were eager to see their new installment today. When we arrived today we saw the finished product, which again, brought a smile to our faces.

ICS is located on an industrial estate, situated inside a building which holds a row of companies, their's being one of them. Each company has a row of (unprotected) windows at the front, however ICS have felt the need to have automated metal shutters positioned upon theirs. This new installment sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the other windows, and just adds to the desperate actions and embarrassment of Industrial Cooling Systems. What's up ICS? Are you scared you'll be receiving more unwanted protests? Already you're affiliation with the filthy animal abusers AT HLS is costing you money as well as your reputation. We suggest you close the shutters on the folks at HLS, as any smart company would do.

More noisy demos from SHAC Birmingham, and more to come for those who have ties with Huntingdon Life Sciences.

CLOSE HLS!

SHAC BIRMINGHAM

Footnote: SHAC are in correspondence with BDO UK and are waiting for clarifications to some questions, we'll keep you all posted of the outcome.
