MORE DEMO TOURS AROUND HAMPSHIRE

Wednesday, 23rd September

Thermo Fisher. Oxoid Estate, Wade Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24 8PW.

Starting off with a new favourite of ours, Thermo Fisher. They continue to be both supplier and customer to Huntingdon Life Sciences, and as long as they continue to do so, we shall continue to be a perminant fixture outside their offices.

Steris, Jays Close, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG22 4BS.

Another very scummy company, who not only supply HLS, but also Oxford University. It seems torture is one of Steris' main incomes. As our chants echoed through the industrial estate, employees from other offices told us how disgusted they were to learn of Steris' dodgy dealings, with the infamous Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Promega. Delta House, Southampton Science Park, Southampton, SO16 7NS

Another extremely echoey industrial estate, with many concerned neighbouring companies. While employees from other buildings were shocked to learn exactly what Promega get up to, workers of Promega were seen laughing inside, as we explained to them how six week old beagle puppies are punched in the face. It should really be expected though, workers inside Huntingdon laugh at the pain and suffering of others, so it's unsurprising that those who deal with them are equally as sick in the head.

Battelle. Langstone Technology Park. Havant, Hampshire PO9 1SA.

And to end the day, we spent the evening at Battelle. As soon as we arrived, security seemed to be getting hot under the collar. Baring in mind that this is the same site where previously a Battelle security guard assulted a protester for using a megaphone. So this time, they tried their luck at telling us that we will be protesting for no more than 30 minutes. Much to the security guard's surprise, we declined his offer and continued to demonstrate for well over an hour, catching workers for over a dozen nearby companies as Battelle workers and security presented us with false smiles and forced laughter. Considering Battelle get so excited by our demonstrations, even trying to tell us that their building is empty (that was rather a poor effort in attempting to convince us though, Battelle, even by your standards) we will be back more regually than ever before.

We never give in and we always win.
