ASTRAZENECA PROTESTS CONTINUE IN LUND

About ten activists gathered outside Astra Zeneca in Lund, Sweden. As a follow up on the great Week of action just held across the globe we continued the fight against the animal abuse going on inside HLS. The demo started as the work day ended and everyone leaving had to drive past the protest crowd on their way home. They were reminded of the cruelty their company is responsible for and we held placards and informed passers-by about the horror of the vivisection labs.

The demo started outside the main entrance but as security put up a sign asking employees leaving to choose another gate we moved on to the next gate. The demo went on for two hours with three megaphones being used. The people working at Astra Zeneca didn't seem to be in a good mood this day. Not only have they just lost their jobs, they also have to answer people's questions about Astra Zeneca's involvement with Europes most exposed vivisection lab and have regular demos at their workplace. The weather is getting warmer, spring is here which means even more demos for Astra Zeneca!

Strengthened from our great Week of action when we did demos every day of the week, some days two times a day we move on with dedication and pride. We know we will shut down Huntingdon Life Sciences!
