home >> news VIVISECTION IMPORTERS & SUPPLIERS HAVE PROTESTS IN LONDON Wednesday, 4th August Activists visited AstraZeneca as part of a day of action against companies and organisations directly involved in the transportation of laboratory animals organised by Gateway to Hell campaign in the UK. After visiting importers, airlines and London City Council we moved on to AstraZeneca on Stanhope Gate. The UK HQ of AstraZeneca is in a large swanky building in Mayfair they are not only a major client of Huntingdon Life Sciences (who were exposed in 2008 by ADI). But are the destination for all the primates being imported through Manchester Airport to a AstraZeneca site for holding and then cruel experiments. A noisy demo went on and the staff were seen out at the end of the day and were reminded of the horrors their company commits and the blood on their hands. It is time to step up and fight against the transport of lab animals globally, for if these animals could not be brought into the UK for vivisection here then vivisection would not be viable and non-existant. No animals = No vivisection For more info on the UK Gateway to Hell campaign, see: http://www.antivivisection.info/g2h/
