INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL RIGHTS DAY - SHAC STYLE

Friday, 10th December

As part of the annual International Animal Rights Day (IARD), activists continued to highlight HLS collaborators in London.

Activists first went outside the offices of Wellington Management, the largest shareholder of HLS customer AstraZeneca at Cardinal Place, 80 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5JL, Tel: +44(0)20 7126 6000. Who own nearly 19 million shares. We reminded Wellington of AstraZeneca and HLS's track record in animal cruelty and with AstraZeneca being raided last week, and are being investigated for colluding with other companies to stop cheaper drugs coming on to the market. It just shows how little HLS and big p'harm'a really care about humans and animals - and that it is all about greed and profit - we call upon Wellington to de invest in AZ and stop investing in this cruel scientific fraud. Wellington's building is a good location for us, with much passing public and vehicles and we gave out much information about AstraZeneca and HLS.

Then it was back into the center of London for our first visit of the day to Axa, the second largest shareholder of AstraZeneca with nearly 11 million shares at their UK HQ at 5 Old Broad Street, London EC2N 1AD. Tel: 0207 920 5900. Axa's response to us educating the crowd that gathered outside their offices (along with three police cars) was to close all their doors and hide. But you can not hide from your involvement with companies that suppress test data to make more profit, that lie in court about their drugs' side effects, or being one of the of most exposed labs in the world who have a history of animal abuse and cruelty, falsifying test data and breaking good laboratory practices. While you continue to deal with customers of HLS, especially one that has its own bad track record, we will continue to name and shame Axa for their unethical investments.

Next up was another Axa office, this time Axa Investment Managers at 7 Newgate Street, London EC1A 7NX. Tel: 207 003 2150. Who we had visited many times before in the past until they sold their shares in HLS before HLS went private, so we will continue now to pressurise them again to sell their shares in AstraZeneca. It doesn't look good for business when you have protestors outside your offices Axa, especially when you make out that you are an ethical company, time to stop duping your clients and customers into believing you care with your waste of time ethical policy, between the two Axa offices, we handed out over 300 flyers about AstraZeneca and HLS, making sure that people realise what you invest in and make profit from - animal abuse and scientific fraud - pure and simple! We will definitely see you again soon Axa for another round of protests against you.
