PROTESTS GROW AT FORTRESS AND ASTRAZENECA IN LONDON

First stop today for over a dozen determined activists was Fortress Investment Group on Savile Row, which was part of a day of action against them. Fortress are the main financial company who directly support the torture and murder of 500 animals every day inside HLS. Fortress seem to think it is ok to hit beagles in the face and cut open monkeys from their neck to their groin while still alive! Fortress are so devious they had tried to hide their blood money loan to HLS by setting up a false company in Luxemburg, but we found you out Fortress and know about your lies and they don't wash with us. How low can you go on when you hide inside your building and lie to the public about your involvement with HLS? You know what to do, get an ethical policy and dump HLS!

Next stop was AstraZeneca at Stanhope Gate where we had a loud and focused demo. As usual AstraZeneca put all their blinds down to try and hide away from the truth of their animal abuse they pay for at HLS. It's not hard to work out that using such a cruel, dodgy company as HLS is going to make your side effects go up? It's no surprise that tens of thousands of people are suing you in the US over your anti psychotic drug - Seroquel. You're a disgusting company AZ and we will continue to protest outside your premises across the world until you stop using HLS and get some ethics!

We then moved onto an anti fur demo outside the Finnish Embassy as there has been a very recent expose into the cruel Finish fur farms, showing poor animals with all sort of wounds, various illnesses and many dead animals left in cages. We were there with other activists to put pressure on the Finish government to ban fur farming in Finland. The demo was well received by the Finish Embassy, with a member of staff coming out to thank us for our peaceful demo!

The afternoon wasn't through yet and activists decided to go back to AstraZeneca to give them a flying visit. We caught AZ on the hop and blasted them with a megaphone sandwich and certainly made AZ aware of our presence and what we though of AZ and their continued dealings with the worst of the worst in animal labs - HLS.

We then again moved on to Fortress to see the workers out of their offices and stayed there for quite a while getting our message across to all the public that were going home from work. Although our numbers had dropped slightly after a long day of demos, we made up any difference with extra megaphones letting the whole of Savile Row and surrounding area know exactly what Fortress gets up to with their blood money loan to HLS. Fortress are the main reason HLS are still killing and torturing 500 animals every day and we will not stop our protests. The message is clear Fortress, we will build up our actions against you over this year until you drop HLS.
