ASTRAZENECA & THERMOFISHER PROTESTS IN LOUGHBOROUGH

Activists from a newly-formed group Loughborough Animal Action braved the snow to remind AstraZeneca and ThermoFisher Scientific in Loughborough what the company they choose to do business with is like. As they phoned the police and pulled down their blinds it was obvious from the shamed looks of leaving employees that we were getting to them.

We told them the facts about Huntingdon Life Sciences and reminded them about the most recent expose regarding the treatment of primates there. This was most relevant to AstraZeneca as they have a specific section of their website outlining their 'caring' approach to primate use - something which we reminded them was a total lie if they just look at what has been found out about Huntingdon Life Sciences.

The group got a great reaction from workers from surrounding companies, who now obviously know and are disgusted at who these local businesses are involved with.

AstraZeneca and ThermoFisher Scientific can rest assured this group will be back, in any weather, until these poor animals are free from exploitation and 'science' wakes up to what it is doing.
