CAMBRIDGE AZ DAY OF ACTION AGAINST KUDOS

Activists headed to the wholly owned AstraZeneca subsidiary, KuDOS Pharmaceuticals (410 Cambridge Science Park, Milton Road, Cambridge, CB4 0PE) in support of SHAC's AstraZeneca Day of Action. Armed with banners, posters and a megaphone campaigners educated the public about the cruelty and falsification of data that has been exposed inside HLS.

Campaigners also took the time to highlight the recent case of AstraZeneca deliberately withholding information about adverse side effects for AstraZeneca's anti-depressant Seroquel.

The protesters were joined by a photographer from the local paper. We will use all tools at our disposal to expose HLS and its supporters, take note AstraZeneca!

The police arrived and seemed OK at first, later however they showed there true colours! The police told two activists that they were to be reported for a summons for 'aggravated trespass' and then bullied an elderly lady for her details. Police claimed that she was using 'anti-social behaviour' due to her polite use of the megaphone. This was a particularly stupid assertion as she had previously asked one of the cops if her use of the megaphone was OK and he replied that it was!
