GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST ASTRAZENECA IN LA

In honor of Global Day of Action against AstraZeneca, activists protested outside of Aptium Oncology in Beverly Hills – a company who is wholly-owned and subsidised by AstraZeneca.

AstraZeneca is a direct participant of the murder and torture of 500 animals every day and continues to carry out business with Huntingdon Life Sciences despite their horrible reputation and increasing debt. Activists gathered in the afternoon at Aptium and gave them a “warm and welcoming” demonstration, since it was the first time this location has been targeted in Southern California.

Many employees were not aware of their company's involvement with Huntingdon, however some were quick to try and disprove their trail of blood money. We were not fooled by such tactics. Activists were persistent and continued the demo despite the failed interruption. A passer-by, disgusted by the atrocities committed by Huntingdon and supported by AstraZeneca, joined activists in protest.

We are committed to the animals, therefore we will be back to protest Aptium.

We won't stop until you do.
