Then we went to Fortress Investment Group based at 5 Saville Row, London, W1S 3PD, to name and shame them for secretly giving a loan of $70 million to HLS in 2006, funding since then the torture and murder of 500 animals inside HLS every single day. After about ten minutes of protest at Fortress, the police turned up with their latest ruse for prohibiting peaceful protest and free speech – apparently it is now illegal to use megaphones on demos under the Anti-Social Behaviour law dispersal zone, so our speakers were told to stop using the megaphones and leave the demo, otherwise they would be arrested, despite the Chief Constable of the Metropolitan Police’s promises made to various media that officers would not use various laws just to stop peaceful protest. The link between big business and police has once again been shown we wonder just how many ordinary police officers are content to be the lackeys of big business, how many of them joined the force to be told what to do (and when to do it) by pharmaceutical companies that are content to put poisonous drugs on the market, in the name of profit. Video will be available soon. SHAC London
