WEEK OF ACTION AGAINST ASTRAZENECA IN SWEDEN

AstraZeneca had a week of action which became a busy week for local animal activists in south Sweden. We arranged protests outside of the company's offices in Lund every day from Monday, 22nd until Friday, 26th March. The workers there are used to seeing us - we have been holding protests there regularly for almost a year, showing up about once per week.

During the action week there were between seven and fifteen activists at the Lund site with the standard equipment of banners, placards and megaphones, ready to show the workers how we feel about AstraZeneca's dealings with Huntingdon Life Sciences.

This week we had also made banners which were dropped from the nearby bridge just outside of AZ, making it very visible for the people who work there to see. We will never give up the struggle for the thousands of animals locked up and suffering endlessly at Huntingdon Life Sciences, and we will not let AstraZeneca make business with this cruel company in peace.

We will return and keep fighting until all ties with HLS have been cut!
