ACTIVISTS DEMO KUDOS PHARMA IN CAMBRIDGE

Wednesday, 3rd March

Activists were back at AstraZeneca's KuDOs Pharma to once again highlight AstraZeneca's links to the most exposed animal lab in the world, Huntingdon Life Sciences.

The atmosphere was calm with one police officer turning up but making no objections. A security guard came by and took a picture presumably with the intent of intimidating campaigners but aside from this did nothing else.

A number of leaflets were handed out by the campaigners as there was a high degree of interest from passers-by. Protesters found out after the demo that AstraZeneca's financial situation has done a bit of the campaigns work for it as KuDOs Pharma is to be closed down!

We would like to offer solidarity to any ex-worker who wishes to pass on information about AstraZeneca. Along with soon to be ex-staff in Loughborough and southern Sweden too. It comes as no surprise that a company that uses animals as a disposable commodity will do the same to their own 'surplus' staff once there is no longer a need for them. It is also no surprise that AstraZeneca are continuing to be sued because of their dangerous, animal 'safety tested' drugs causing side effects and we hope all victims of AstraZeneca, both non-human animals and human animals no longer suffer at the hands of a company that continues to use the worse of the worse animal lab, HLS and there will be a time soon we hope when there are no victims of their continued violence. Until all are free.
