home >> news TRIO OF HLS CUSTOMER PROTESTS Monday, 10th May Arriving at AstraZeneca on Stanhope Gate at about 8:15am we leafleted the staff going in. The AstraZeneca staff do not like to be reminded of all the evil that they do first thing on a Monday morning. We stayed until about 9:30 then we hopped on a tube train down to Uxbridge where there are a couple more big pharmaceutical companies who continue dealing with HLS. We started at Bayer, the German pharmaceutical giant, who have been Next we visited Bristol-Myers Squibb who are yet another massive pharmaceutical company hell bent on poisoning humanity and torturing animals, where we stayed for over an hour despite the less than favourable position we had to stand in. This company has such large private grounds that you cannot get anywhere near the building, though we did make the most of protesting at the only entrance and exit, and everyone who went through will have known we were there.
