home >> news DC DEMOS CONTINUE AGAINST HLS CUSTOMERS Tuesday, 18th May At about 7:30 am, animal rights protesters returned, in the rain, to the offices of four Huntingdon Life Sciences customers in DC: AstraZeneca, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis and Bristol-Myers Squibb. At Novartis and AstraZeneca offices, protesters were met with security upon arrival. This means that the security has devoting many resources with attempts to "control" the protests. After about 30 minutes of verbally hammering Novartis and AstraZeneca, activists felt that the message had been adequately served and packed it up to continue with the rest of the top customers of Huntingdon Life Sciences on the schedule for this morning. At Sanofi Aventis, anti-HLS protesters didn't receive any harassment or get sprayed with a hose by building maintenance. With three bullhorns the Sanofi office building (shared with other company's offices) got the message loud and clear. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, a new security guard and one of his buddies busied themselves taking flash pictures and texting or entering data into some kind of device. At one point the security came out to the protesters to get close-ups of the activists. After about 30 minutes at Bristol-Myers Squibb activists packed it up and called it a day. Novartis, AstraZeneca, Sanofi Aventis, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, you have been protested at continuously, when are you going to realize that we are not backing down and we will continue to give you continuous reminders that this is a bad business move on your part. Drop HLS or Sink with them.....its your choice! Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsVtSflFppA Until all are free!
