home >> news GLOBAL DEMOS START AGAINST MAZOR FARM & EL AL Thursday, 27th May Activists in Israel and Denmark protested against the airline company El Al. The protests were a part of the recently started campaign 'Free the Mazor Monkeys', which aims to shut down Mazor Farm, a monkey breeding company that has Huntingdon Life Sciences as one of their customers. In Israel over 20 people showed up with banners, placards and megaphone. They were met by an El Al representative who went on trying to white wash the company by loosely talking about how they supposively help poor people. As if it would justify making business with a company that makes money out of selling innocent living beings to horrific experiments oversees. In Denmark four people stood outside the El Al office and showed thousands of passersby what cruel company they are. More demos against El Al, as part of the campaign, are expected in England in the coming weeks. This campaign is international and the dirty businessmen behind Mazor Farm have met resistance at a scale they probably have not grasped yet. 120 airline companies have vowed not to fly primates to vivisection labs, and hopefully they will be joined by El Al soon. If you have an El Al office in your country, please don't hesitate to organise a demo there. Contact the Free the Mazor Monkeys campaign for more information. You can also help out by simply writing, e-mailing or telephoning your nearest El Al office. Find them here.
