BEAGLE DAY DEMO AT HLS OCCOLD

Eighteen of us held a demonstration at HLS’s smaller lab at Occold, Suffolk today in support of “Beagle Day”. As we stood out in the glorious sunshine for just under three hours, we were fully aware that the beagles inside HLS (and all the other animals incarcerated inside there) are never lucky enough to see the sunshine and feel the warmth of the sun on their faces.

The HLS injunction servers were kept busy, as there were lots of new faces on the demo. What it must be to have such an important and satisfying job.

One thing is for sure is that we were a very vocal bunch and all those workers with their car windows open in the sunshine certainly got to feel the heat of our feelings.
