CANADIAN PROTESTS AT NOVARTIS & CHARLES RIVER

For the International Day for Beagles, activists confronted the top two animal abusers in the Montreal area, Novartis one of HLS's biggest clients and Charles River.

We first held a loud demo at the Canadian headquarters of Novartis which is nestled in a cozy suburb of Montreal. People from all over the neighbourhood came out to see what was going on and were horrified to learn about Novartis and their ties to animal abuse and HLS. We stayed for two and a half hours making sure they heard our message loud and clear- DROP HLS!

We then protested at the huge Charles River animal testing facility, we can only imagine how many animals are imprisoned in this hell hole at any given time. Many species of animals big and small are bred, tortured and killed at this location every day. We stayed here until the end of the day and workers were seen sneaking out the back with their cars barely fitting through the bike path! Cowards!

Reporters from the Montreal media were present at both demos. We are sure to return to these locations!
