home >> news PROTESTS AT FORTRESS' SUBSIDUARY & ASTRAZENECA Tuesday, 4th May Today we visited a new target, 'Aircastle', located on Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2. A small building on a quiet street, but none the less we made our voices heard and urged staff at Aircastle to use their influence on Fortress - which they are a subsiduary of, and urge them to stop keeping HLS in business by providing them with their blood money loan. No staff came out to talk with us, but before we left, we put some leaflets through their letterbox - so hopefully they will be fully informed about the situation before we visit them again! We couldn't end the day without stopping by AstraZenca, so off we went for another surprise visit! As usual, staff rushed to the windows to peer out at us, and so we asked if they were going to behave themselves today or resort to their usual childish tactics of throwing things at us. They oddly responded by drawing a 'smiley face' and briefly sticking it on the window - not sure what that was about! But as we had their attention, we invited them to come out, take leaflets, and try to justify their dealings with Huntingdon Life Sciences to us. They immediately disappeared from the window, presumably hiding under their desks at the thought of our request! They managed to whine to the gardai during this time, and when they arrived to try and stop us it didn't matter as our job was done anyway, and we shall be returning very, very soon!
