MORE HIGHGATE FARM PROTESTS

Activists from the north were back at Highgate Farm in Lincolnshire once again to express their disgust with a farm that thinks its OK to breed rabbits and ferrets to be tortured to death in UK laboratories.

We started our day at the farm, until, as usual the police came. We decided to move but into the nearby village west of Highgate Farm this time, to let the people of Normanby by Spital know what exactly exists just outside their village.

The reception by the landlady of the local pub was a little strange, I would urge anyone of Normanby by Spital to look into the truth of medical research, take our leaflets and realise that it is about making money and it is not just animals, but humans that also die needlessly because of dangerous drugs brought onto the market tested safe in animal experiments.

A lot of support was shown by local people though so we had a good day. Once again the police turned up in number, what they think four people on a Sunday afternoon are going to do still amazes us, lets hope they are never needed elsewhere for any real crime.

After our demo in the village we moved off eastwards to the other side of Highgate Farm into Market Rasen to leaflet the town and once again highlight the cruel goings on in sheds, between Market Rassen and Normanby by Spital just a few short miles away.

We had a good day and meet some good people who will hopefully join us sometime soon. We will never give up on those poor defenceless rabbits and ferrets held in the sheds of Highgate Farm, anyone who wants to join us please contact: closehighgaterabbitfarm@hotmail.co.uk
