ASTRAZENECA AND PHENOMENEX PROTESTS IN CHESHIRE

Activists got together today and headed to Cheshire, home of AstraZeneca, one of HLS's biggest customers. We had a good shout and got lots of support from passing traffic. After an hour and half we left them to head for Phenomenex.

Phenomenex supply specialist equipment to HLS that they can't function without. They knew we were there, but were too cowardly to accept our offers of coming out to speak to us about the atrocities going on inside HLS. They've seen the leaflets and posters before (and the video footage), yet they knowingly support HLS's cruelty and law breaking, what sort of people are they??!!

We then headed back to AstraZeneca to greet the workers coming out. Here we were met by a big surprise! They had gone on strike and were having a picket about the bosses freezing their pensions! So not only were we demo'ing them, their own staff were too! Many of the staff came to chat to us to tell them how annoyed they were with the company at the moment and they suggested joining up on demos. We gave about 150 of the staff leaflets and they gladly took them. Some staff came and chatted to us about animal experiments and we told them how unnecessary they are, there are so many scientifically valid methods. We gave out 100's of scientific factual leaflets about vivisection and they took them too. So AZ looks like your own staff hate you as much as we do... Better hope they don't blow the whistle on your secrets.... Why don't you and Phenomenx drop HLS now!!!?
