PROTESTS HELD IN SEATTLE AGAINST FORTRESS SUBSIDIARY

NARN (Northwest Animal Rights Network) held a demo at the AG Financial in Seattle. As AGF are 80% owned by HLS's funder, Fortress Investment Group.

Activists gathered outside their building at 10740 Meridian Ave. N, Seattle and many passersby stopped to chat and ask why we were there. An AG employee came out and said she didn't know anything about Fortress, and that Fortress's take-over of AG hadn't quite gone through yet.

We explained that it was a done deal and we were here to name and shame Fortress at ALL of Fortress' businesses, until they do the right thing and drop their loan with HLS. She said she was a dog lover and wanted to know what was going on. We explained to her HLS's history of killing and torturing animals, and we promised to come back to give her and her colleagues more information.
