VANCOUVER ACTIVISTS JOIN WEEK OF ACTION

Vancouver activists took to the streets to protest during SHAC's Financial Focus week of action against Fortress Investment Group. Where we protested outside Intrawest (Fortress subsidiary) and Bank of America (Fortress shareholder).

We started off the day at Intrawest's offices at: Suite 710, 375 Water Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 5C6. We were well received by staff and security at Intrawest (who are fully owned by Fortress) who wanted as much information as we could give them, and distributed it through their offices. Activists held banners during the protest and after some loud chanting we felt that they got the message across loud and clear.

We then went to Bank of America's offices at: 1055 Dunsmuir St., Four Bentall Centre, Vancouver, BC V7X 1C4 as they are the third largest shareholder in Fortress. Business users of TD Canada Trust Tower were made well aware of the shame of their bloody business with Fortress and HLS.

We marched through their lobby with signs and chanting so that everyone inside was aware of Bank of America's ties to vicious Huntingdon Life Sciences. We then continued to protest outside and made sure everyone in the area could hear us, with much interest from the passing public.
