home >> news PROTESTS CONTINUE AT HLS CUSTOMER, ASTRAZENECA Tuesday, 28th September Today BAA activists held another loud and visual demo outside the Luton offices of AstraZeneca, because of their continued use of Huntingdon Life Sciences. Upon arrival it soon became clear that there was a large event occurring at the site with the visitors car park full and many of the visible conference rooms full of people in what seemed to be important meetings. As ever there was the usual frantic dash towards the blinds so that AstraZeneca's guests wouldn't be educated or embarrassed by us revealing their dirty little secrets. But we made sure all could hear why we were there with our megaphones. We received a great deal of support from passers by who were disgusted to hear of AZ's involvement in the murder of 500 animals a day inside HLS. We stayed long enough to see a lot of the workers and visitors out the building. Here's hoping that they use their time well at home and reflect on there role in the torturing of animals inside Huntingdon Life Sciences and how they may go about ending this torture. But until then we at BAA and other activists across the world will just have to return time and time again to you offices AstraZeneca. Until all are free Bedford Animal Action (BAA): www.bedfordanimalaction.org/
