The site was cleared of all animals and breeding stock and has remained empty for over a year - until now. Marshall Farms have lodged a planning application under B&K Universal's trade name with East Riding of Yorkshire Council to demolish all buildings on site and construct four units for use in breeding beagle dogs for vivisection. If permission is granted, many thousands of beagles will be imprisoned in the kennels onsite to be sent on to labs. The main clients of Marshall / B&K Universal in the UK are set to be toxicology research centres, where these sentient animals will be poisoned on a daily basis and suffer a painful, lingering death. We cannot afford to allow Marshall Farms to expand their sick business and reach out into the UK! Please contact East Riding of Yorkshire Council and ask for this disgusting development to be refused! The deadline is the 2nd May and please quote Planning Application Number 11/01324/STPLF.
