DAY OF ACTION FOR BEAGLES IN IRELAND
Friday, 29th April
Today we protested the AstraZeneca HQ in Ireland (College Park House, Nassau Street, Dublin 2. Tel. +353 (0)1 6097100 ), in memory of Beagle #1264, who was used, abused, and murdered in Huntingdon Life Sciences.
Leaflets flying out, megaphone on the go the entire time - the whole street was left in no doubt as to why we were there.
As one of HLS’ top customers, AstraZeneca's hands are firmly soaked in the blood of not only Beagle #1264, but millions of others who were experimented on and killed before - and after - her life was taken from her.
500 animals die at the hands of vivisectors every day in Huntingdon Life Sciences. Locked away behind closed doors, where nobody but their tormentors can hear them scream, their lives are a living hell.
They do not know a life without fear, without pain, without suffering. They will live and die without having experienced a single act of kindness.
HLS truly is an Animal Auschwitz – which is why we need to shut it down. Now.
If they didn’t have clients, they would cease to exist. This makes AstraZeneca primarily and directly responsible for keeping this torture facility up and running. From CEO’s to office secretaries, everyone involved in AstraZeneca is funding the abuse and murder of hundreds of animals every day.
This is unacceptable. They may not have a conscience, but we do – which means that no matter how long it takes, we will never stop fighting for the animals in HLS.
Never doubt that a compassionate minority can overpower the moral-less majority.
To Beagle #1264: We, activists from all around the world, will not let your death be in vain.
